DMI Joinery and Carpentry
Our teams experience has been built on many years of working in all types of joinery and building projects.
David Smeed, the owner of DMI Joinery and Carpentry, worked for a major joinery firm in Maidstone which led to working for a big refurbishment company in London and the South East, making and installing all types of joinery.
DMI Joinery has a proven track record of jobs well done and many happy customers, from doors and windows being manufactured, hardwood timber roof lanterns, wardrobes, cabinets, bespoke kitchens and much more.
DMI is happy to Design – Manufacture – Install.
Being based in the medieval town of Rye on the South East Coast, DMI has a good working knowledge of listed buildings and working on them.
DMI Joinery and Carpentry can also produce detailed CAD drawings for either the local authority or client to sign off prior to manufacture so you know exactly what you are getting.
DMI is fully insured for your peace of mind, Public liability up to £5 million and Employers liability up to £10 million.

I posted a request for a Carpenter to replace french doors and arranged for D.M.I Carpentry Joinery and Glazing Solutions to attend, agreed fee and work to be carried out. Mr D Smeed was very clean, professional and helpful the job was completed on time at agreed price and we are very pleased with the work carried out and we have arranged for Mr Smeed to carry out further work for us replace and fit new garden decking i would recommend Mr Smeed to friends, family and to My Builder to check him out for any Carpentry Glazing work you need.

After a long COVID related delay Dave and Dan fitted replacement sliding sash windows this week. We are very pleased with the end result. I would also like to add that both were courteous and unobtrusive during fitting, which is important with a busy household. I would highly recommend!
